# comangle()

Descripiton:

Calculate the phase angle of complex numbers.

Syntax:

A.comangle()

Note:

External library function (See External Library Guide). Each member of the specified sequence of complex numbers returns its phase angle within the interval [-π,π].

Parameter:

 A A sequence of complex numbers

Return value:

Sequence

Example:

 A 1 =[[1,2],[3,4],[5,6],[7,8],[5,0],[-5,0],[-8,-9],[-0.3,5],[3,-4],[0,0],[0,3],[0,-2]] 2 =A1.comangle() 3 =[1,3,5,7,5,-5,-8,-0.3,3,0,0,0] 4 =[2,4,6,8,0,0,-9,5,-4,0,3,-2] 5 =complex(A3,A4) Generate a sequence of complex numbers. 6 =A5.comangle() 7 =[-1] A single value is by default the real part. 8 =A7.comangle() If elements in the sequence are non-negative real numbers, each returns 0; if they are negative real numbers, each returns π.
