Enable function prompt

There are so many functions, what if we cannot remember all? Don’t worry, esProc offers “Enable function prompt” option. When checked, it lists all matching functions according to the several starting letters you enter, and you just select the desired one.

For example. to enter xlsimport() function, we enter =xl under “Edit command”:

A drop-down list of all matching functions appears. We can double-click the desired one or press Up or Down key to select one. Then press Enter and the function will be automatically inserted to you command.

By checking “Enable function prompt”, a description will appear whenever the cursor hovers over a function, as shown below:
